Cuckoo and the Nightingale
Held in historic Richmond in the heart of the Coal River Valley, the 2024 Tasmanian Chamber Music Festival's Prelude Festival kicks off with Julia Fredersdorff (Artistic Director and violin), Martin Gester (organ) and Aline Zylberajch (harpsichord) performing a dazzling kaleidoscope of Baroque works, including Handel’s ever-popular concerto “The Cuckoo and the Nightingale”, here arranged for violin, harpsichord and organ.
